The Vigilance of Commission of Railway Safety is headed by a Chief Vigilance Officer (part time), appointed in consultation with the Central Vigilance Commission.

The Vigilance of Commission of Railway safety monitors and coordinates vigilance activities of the Headquarter office as well as of Circle offices.

The guidelines/instructions issued by the Department of Personnel & Training and Central Vigilance Commission are followed..
